SHABATECH HOLDINGS started as a formal business aiming to deliver various services to the mining, local municipality, government department and further enter the private sector. It identified a gap in the market to supply it services that were much needed by the mining, local municipality and government departments. The management felt that they could start a business that will deliver competitive prices, superior quality, and be able to create employment for themselves and people in the community. The founder had worked in mining and industry related with a vast experience and supporting qualifications thereof and currently in hydraulic hose and services supply including maintenance thereof. The management, having worked from low operational management level, to co-operate positions in various companies. These provides a much needed technical and management experience with skills shortage in South Africa.
